Come and join a wide variety of leaders in our community as part of this networking event at a beautiful rooftop bar in the heart of Washington DC.
Admittance is $10 per person. No drinks or food included, they can be purchased separately (happy hour until 7 PM). Space is limited, advanced registration is required. Recommended attire: Business or Business Casual.
The US Spain Executives Community (USEC) is a nonprofit organization. Any net revenue derived from this event will be used to cover fixed expenses (web site, DC registration, etc) and promote activities aligned with our mission.

Spanish blockchain technology against counterfeiting: Interview with Susan Creamer, CEO of HolaTECH
HolaTECH© is a provocative technology start-up based in Madrid, Spain to combat counterfeiting in all its guises. They have developed a broad suite of software solutions to help protect brands, and more importantly, prevent consumers from being duped into purchasing anything that is not genuine. They achieve this through their own QR ID code system using secure technology incorporating Distributed Ledger Technology (underpinned by blockchain). Their engineering team is in Talevera de la Reina, Toledo, one hour outside of Madrid, Spain.
USEC had a unique opportunity to hold an exclusive interview with HolaTECH’s CEO, Susan Creamer, who is visiting the US regularly to meet investors and customers. She is a member of USEC and will be on her way back to the USA in early May 2019 for further discussions for seed funding with Investors out of Chicago and D.C trying to raise around 3 Million USD. Meeting with Secretary of State for Economy and Business Support at the Residence of the Ambassador of Spain
The Secretary of State for Economy and Business Support, Ana de la Cueva, met today at the Residence of the Ambassador of Spain, with the Ambassador, Santiago Cabanas, representatives of the main Spanish companies, and members of the Embassy. The US Spain Executives Community had the honor of participating through its President, Gonzalo García. The Secretary of State had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the opportunities and difficulties identified by Spanish companies operating in the US.
