Muchas familias han perdido sus hogares y enfrentan una situación de gran vulnerabilidad. Es el momento de demostrar la fuerza de nuestra comunidad.

We were thrilled to have a full house for the first U.S. Spain Executives Community event in Madrid October 29th.
There were two terrific panels discussing the ins and outs of building businesses in the U.S. vs Spain, pursuing investment, challenges of startup life and more:
1 – Moderated by USEC President Kat O’Brien with Victoriano Izquierdo of Graphext, Pere Pons of Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa | Madrid, Gabriela Orille of Denarius & Jorge Lana of Modulor Ventures
2 – Moderated by USEC Board member Javier Garcia Rodrigo with Gloria Gubianas Blanes of HEMPER HANDMADE , Felix Gonzalez Herranz of FounderNest and Marcia Maciel of L’Oréal

We had close to 50 people there – mil gracias a nuestros anfitriones Capchase Ignacio Moreno Pubul Trinidad Maria Arancibia Campos – with networking and happy hour following the panels.

We are really excited to announce that the U.S. Spain Executives Community will be having our first event in Madrid on Oct. 29th!

It will include two panels related to startups and investment between Spain and the U.S.; as well as a networking happy hour.

Tras 10 magníficos años de Gonzalo Garcia asumiendo el mando de la organización como Presidente, queremos comunicaros nuestra gran ilusión por asumir los puestos de la nueva presidencia de USEC (Kat O’Brien como Presidenta, y Esther Urios como Vice Presidenta).

Ambas estamos muy agradecidas por todo el trabajo que ha realizado Gonzalo para establecer y crecer la asociación hasta hoy (alrededor de 400 miembros entre Estados Unidos y España), y sentimos un gran honor y responsabilidad por seguir sus pasos para liderar USEC.

En esta nueva e ilusionante etapa de USEC, tenemos la idea de organizar eventos tanto virtuales como presenciales en distintas localidades de Estados Unidos y España. Queremos expandir USEC junto a vosotros, por eso os invitamos a que nos escribáis directamente con cualquier idea que tengáis para dar un impulso a esta magnífica asociación. Nos podéis escribir directamente a katobrienusec@gmail.com o darnos vuestras ideas mediante el siguiente formulario. El éxito e impacto de USEC está en la mano de cada uno y tenemos la esperanza que con vuestras ideas y participación activa podremos expandir la comunidad en tamaño e impacto, y así fomentar las relaciones personales y de negocios entre aquellos interesados en ambos España y EE.UU.

En las próximas semanas, anunciaremos los miembros de la Junta, o Board, pero queremos animar a que todos toméis un rol participativo en USEC! Muchísimas gracias a Gonzalo y a todos los que habéis hecho posible el éxito de USEC hasta ahora!

Dear members of the U.S.-Spain Executives Community:

After 10 magnificent years of Gonzalo Garcia leading the organization as President, we want to communicate to you our great excitement to take over the roles of the new presidency of USEC (Kat O’Brien as President, and Esther Urios as Vice-President).

Both of us are very grateful for all the work that Gonzalo has done to establish and grow the organization to where it is today (close to 400 members between the U.S. and Spain), and we feel a great honor and responsibility to follow in his footsteps in leading USEC. 

In this new and exciting chapter for USEC, we would like to organize both virtual events as well as in-person events in various places in both the U.S. and Spain. We want to expand USEC together with all of you; hence we invite you to write us directly with any idea that you may have to give a push to this wonderful organization. The success and impact of USEC is in each of your hands, and we are hoping that with your ideas and participation, we can expand the community’s size and impact, and really promote personal relationships and business relationships among those interested in both Spain and the U.S.
